Galaxy Nails – BornPrettyStore Nail Decals

For this design, I tried out some nail decals from Born Pretty Store. This was my first time using nail decals and I must admit, there was a bit of a learning curve. However, once I got the hang of them, the process went pretty smooth.

The design I have here is this galaxy, gradient effect design. This decal set comes with 12 different sizes of decals. I started with the smallest one thinking it would be perfect for my pinky nail. It was entirely too small. I had to go through two sizes before I found the perfect fit. I do wish that the sizing of these decal were bigger. Most of these sizes were too small for my nails and didn’t cover the nail completely from side to side.

It’s like it just melts it away! So, I didn’t have to cut the excess decal from the tip of my nails. I just put some top coat on and it sort of dissolved on it own. I used a dotting tool to remove the excess decal material.

Galaxy NailsI actually really love the idea of having a colorful nail design on the whole nail in a matter of seconds! This has opened up a whole new world for me. I am anxious to try more water decal designs.
