Golden Autumn Nails with 3D flowers and Heart cut-outs-This nail design is a little muted from my previous design. Although it is gorgeous, this beautiful golden color makes these nails very wearable. I wanted to incorporate new elements into my designs, like trying out the “cut out” shapes and utilizing some the these gold beads that have been collecting dust in my nail box.
The leading element in this design is this beautiful gold color. This is from OPI. The pictures dose it no justice. It reminds me of the color of 24 carat gold. It a rich, deep golden color with lots of shimmer.
Next, I switched up the shape of my nails. Last design was square-shaped. I love my stiletto nails, but I didn’t want a point this time. I settled with the happy medium; Coffin-shaped nails. This is my first time trying out this shape. I love it because it’s very similar to how my natural nails grow. Also, I don’t have to worry about poking holes in my shirts (I know I can’t be the only one that has done that lol!)
Products used to create this design:
• OPI nail polish- Rising Star
• Kiss Nail Art Paint- White
• No-lift Nails Liquid Acrylic (Monomer)
• Size #6 Acrylic Brush
• Tammy Taylor Whitest White Acrylic powder
• Small gold beads (purchased from ebay)
• Seche Vite topcoat
I applied two coats of the OPI Rising Star to the nails, skipping the nails I chose to put designs on.
For the heart shaped “cut out”, I use the nail polish brush to lightly outline the heart. Then I carefully painted all around the outline. Once the polish was all dry, I used the Kiss nail art paint to outline the heart.
