I have been really enjoying the simple nail designs lately. I love the nice clean look it gives to the nails. However, you all know me, I had to add a little jazz to this simple and sleek design. I decided to do a very blinged out nail on each hand using very small but very beautiful a/b rhinestones. It almost gives it a pave look! This design was very easy to do. Most of my effort went in to give them this perfect slender square shape.
Products used to create this design:
- Nuni Torres Light Pink Acrylic Powder
- Nail Tips
- Nail glue
- No-lift Nails Primer
- No-lift Nails Liquid Acrylic (Monomer)
- Size #6 Acrylic Brush
- Electric Nail Drill
- A/B Czech crystal rhinestones
- Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Nail Coat, 0.5 Ounce
I soaked off my previous set and prepped my nails for a new set! That is one of the reasons I love doing my own nails. I’m able to switch up my nail designs whenever I want without worrying about outrageous costs.
I purchased a large quantity of these nail tips from eBay. There were many sizing to choose from. Of course, I picked out the size best suited for my nails, applied a few drops of nail glue, and securely adhered them to my nails. Making sure to pinch them well on the sides to create the perfect C curve.
I used the light pink color acrylic that I purchased from Nunis_nails. If you’ve seen my last few nail designs, you know how much I love his acrylic powders. I have used the intense pink quite a few times, but this was my first time using the light pink color. I love it! It give a very natural look to my nails.
As stated above, I took the most time shaping the nails. I have been missing my square nails, but I didn’t want them to be too wide. I have always used a hand file to shape my nails, but this time I used my newly purchased Electric Nail Drill with medium grit golden carbide drill. This cut the shaping time in half.
I used a small dotting tool and my all time favorite top coat, Seche Vite, to apply my A/B Czech crystal rhinestones. Yes, I applied these one at a time!
