Coffin Nails – LongHairPrettyNails Pink Nude Acrylic Powder

Coffin NailsCoffin nails have become one of my favorite shapes. You all know how I love nude nails too. A beautiful nude color just gives a nice, clean look. Well, if you are a follower of this blog, you know that I had always purchased my pink nude acrylics from Nuni Torres from Instagram. Don’t get me wrong, I love his product, however I hate that it’s not readily available. He only sales them like twice a year. Also, once I do place an order, it always takes over a month to receive it. So, I decided to create my own color.

This is my custom blended pink nude acrylic. I took everything that I love from my favorite acrylics powders and bottled it up lol. The color is a perfect nude with a hint of pink. It is also opaque, which makes it the perfect cover pink. Click here to purchase! Free shipping available.

Products used to create this design:

There is nothing like a fresh set of nails. I soaked off my previous set and prepped my natural nails. I used natural colored nail tips and a basic quick dry nail glue to adhere them.

Coffin Nails Coffin NailsAfter I applied the tips, I trimmed them with a nail clipper and lightly shaped them. I was going for coffin nails, so I filed the sides inward slightly.

Coffin Nails This set is ultra simple. I used the LongHairPrettyNails Pink Nude Acrylic Powder and applied it to the entire nail.Coffin Nails Once the application of the acrylic was complete, I filed, shaped, and buffed. Lastly, I applied two coats of Seche Vite topcoat.

Bright Pink Neon Nails w/ 3D Acrylic Flowers- LongHairPrettyNails

Bright Pink Neon NailsThis nail design is a bit different from what I have been doing lately. I have really fallen in love with the nude nail look, and been pretty much sticking to that. But this time around, I wanted to do something more bright and in your face! Of course I had to incorporate my favorite elements, pink nude and acrylic 3D flowers. This is also a nail collab with several fellow nail enthusiast. Check out links to everyone’s look here.

Products used to create this design:

The color I used for this design is this bright, neon pink nail polish from Ruby Kisses. It’s called “Sweet Thing”.

Bright Pink Neon NailsI used a dotting tool to create both polka dot nails.

Bright Pink Neon NailsI used regular scotch tape to create the half painted nail. The tape was used to give a very crisp line.

Bright Pink Neon NailsThese are the colored acrylic powders that I used to create the 3D flowers. I purchased these from Born Pretty Store a few years ago. I bought these when I first started to get into 3D acrylic art. As you can see, it’s time for a new set lol.

Bright Pink Neon NailsI used my #6 Kolinsky brush to create the 3D flowers. I used a small bead of the Beuauty Secrets clear acrylic powder to adhere A/B crystals in the center of each flower.

Bright Pink Neon NailsI really love this fun, bright, nail design. Surprising, I have received a lot of compliments as well. I know bright nails aren’t for everyone, but those who have seen them love it. This design is just so perfect for summer!

Pink Nude Matte 3D flowers and Bling Acrylic Nails

Products used to create this design:

Here I have prepped my nails and applied my No-lift nails primer. As always, I apply this to each nail and left it dry. Then I re-apply a second coat right before I began laying my acrylic.

Pink Nude Matte 3D flowersI used the Tammy Taylor P3 acrylic powder to make the 3D flowers. If you follow this blog then you would know that I was in love with Tammy Taylor acrylics. I really do love the color, I just had to switch brands of acrylic when doing my full sets. The reason being is that the Tammy Taylor powder sets extremely fast. Leaving my no time to shape my nails the may I life them. But a fast setting powder is perfect for 3D art!

Pink Nude Matte 3D flowers Pink Nude Matte 3D flowers Pink Nude Matte 3D flowersNext I used these gorgeous Princess crown nail charms that I got from Born Pretty Store. (Use coupon code CVEK31 for 10% off!) I used a medium sized bead of acrylic to attached them to both glitter nails. Next I did a little free hand nail art with my LA colors nail paint in color white, then added a few a/b crystals for extra shine.Pink Nude Matte 3D flowers

I put two coats of my Seche Vite topcoat on each nail expect of the nails with the 3D flowers. I wanted that nail to have that extra matte look.

Pink Nude Nails with Glitter and 3D Flowers

Pink Nude Nails with GlitterThis Pink Nude Nails with Glitter and 3D flower design sort of just happened. I was going to do just a basic fill-in, but I received another package from Born Pretty Store which included some very pretty items. All the items were nice, but the glitters really stood out to me. So I just had to include them in my next design. Check out Born Pretty Store and use coupon code CVEK31 for 10% off your order.

Products used to create this design:

I prepped my nails by pushing back the cuticles and removing any dead skin. The I removed any lifting acrylic. Once that was done, I filled the ring finger nail on my left hand and the index finger nail on my right hand very low using my electric drill in preparation for the glitter acrylic. Pink Nude Nails with GlitterI filled in the nails using my all time favorite acrylic, Intense Pink, from @nunis_nails. Unfortunately, I’m going to have to find another cover pink once I run out because he only plans to sell them locally from now on. That’s a whole other issue, but if anyone knows of a great cover pink, let me know!Pink Nude Nails with GlitterI wanted to use some of the gorgeous glitter pots that I got from Born Pretty Store. I ended up using these two; a white iridescent and a silver glitter. I mixed the two in each of my glitter nails. To apply the glitter, I picked up a bead of clear acrylic and just dipped in into the glitter pot. I continued to do this until I got the desired amount of coverage of glitter. Then I applied a final layer of clear acrylic to encapsulate it and make it easier to file without losing any of the glitter.Pink Nude Nails with GlitterPink Nude Nails with GlitterPink Nude Nails with GlitterAfter that, I filled, buffed, and shaped the nails. Then I created the 3D flowers and added some rhinestones.Pink Nude Nails with Glitter Pink Nude Nails with Glitter Pink Nude Nails with GlitterLastly, I topped off this design with 2 coats of Seche Vite Top Coat.

Pink Nude Nails with GlitterI love this design because it incorporates my favorites design elements, pink nude acrylic, glitter, and of course, 3D acrylic art. Do you like this design? Tell me your thoughts below!

Soft Pink and White Ombre Nails with Bling

Soft Pink and White Ombre Nails

I have been really enjoying the simple nail designs lately. I love the nice clean look it gives to the nails. However, you all know me, I had to add a little jazz to this simple and sleek design. I decided to do a very blinged out nail on each hand using very small but very beautiful a/b rhinestones. It almost gives it a pave look! This design was very easy to do. Most of my effort went in to give them this perfect slender square shape.

Products used to create this design:

I soaked off my previous set and prepped my nails for a new set! That is one of the reasons I love doing my own nails. I’m able to switch up my nail designs whenever I want without worrying about outrageous costs.

Soft Pink and White Ombre Nails

I purchased a large quantity of these nail tips from eBay. There were many sizing to choose from. Of course, I picked out the size best suited for my nails, applied a few drops of nail glue, and securely adhered them to my nails. Making sure to pinch them well on the sides to create the perfect C curve. Soft Pink and White Ombre Nails

I applied one coat of the No Lift Nails Primer to all of my nail beds. Then, I applied one more coat just prior to applying the acrylic.   Soft Pink and White Ombre Nails

I used the light pink color acrylic that I purchased from Nunis_nails. If you’ve seen my last few nail designs, you know how much I love his acrylic powders. I have used the intense pink quite a few times, but this was my first time using the light pink color. I love it! It give a very natural look to my nails. Soft Pink and White Ombre Nails

As stated above, I took the most time shaping the nails. I have been missing my square nails, but I didn’t want them to be too wide. I have always used a hand file to shape my nails, but this time I used my newly purchased Electric Nail Drill with medium grit golden carbide drill. This cut the shaping time in half. Screen Shot 2015-03-28 at 10.03.44 PM

After the shaping, filing, and buffing, this is the results!Soft Pink and White Ombre Nails

I used a small dotting tool and my all time favorite top coat, Seche Vite, to apply my A/B Czech crystal rhinestones. Yes, I applied these one at a time! Soft Pink and White Ombre Nails

Once all the stones were in place, I applied a final coat of Sech Vite to the bling nails. Then two coats on the rest of the nails. Soft Pink and White Ombre Nails
